Butcher Garage are in St Petersburg, Russia, and they caught our eye recently with a couple of stunning custom Vespa scooters.
First there’s Bender, about which Butcher Garage state “at the core of this project is that what remained of the 1966 Vespa 150 Super after a Huey unloaded all of its firepower might on it!”
It has a Pinasco 177cc top end, Mazzuccheli HP race-crank, RD350 reed, RZ left hand erformance exhaust, 28mm Keihin carburettor and Vespatronic ignition. Making sure all of this handles and stops is YSS supension, a Grimeca master cylinder and disc brake system at the front with Malossi Whoop disc.
Next there is Invader, which was once a French ACMA Vespa before being modified to include a trick lifting rear end, in true hot rod style.
This engine has been treated to a Malossi 166 kit, with a 30mm Dellorto carb, Mazzuccheli crank, has Bitubo suspension and a semi-hydraulic Grimeca disc brake at the front.
Truly stunng scooters, we think you’ll agree, and you can find out more about Butcher Garagre and view more photographs by visiting the Butcher Garage Facebook page.
