Scooters, Parts & ScooterNova goodies at the Mammoth this Sunday

This Sunday 2nd March is the sixth Mammoth Scooter Parts Fair organised by ScooterNova magazine and EMSA – for scooterists, by scooterists.  Back again to The Stockyard in Melton Mowbray Market, Leicestershire – a fairly central location in the country to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

Shopping List ready?

The Mammoth is the ideal event for picking up spares or searching for a new scooter for this year’s rallies. There are over 140 undercover tables pre-booked, plus a couple of dozen outdoor pitches as well, with sellers and traders travelling from far and wide, all keen to strike a deal. Some traders have already advertised their wares on our social channels so check these out or mention your wish list there!

Some will accept card payments, but cash is king. Don’t worry if you haven’t brought enough, there are cash machines in town which is only a few minutes walk away.

ScooterNova & EMSA Goodies

As the organisers are scooterists too, we’ll both have stalls at The Mammoth Scooter Parts Fair. The East Midlands Scooter Alliance stall will be selling event patches but please be aware that these sold out quickly last time!

It’s the perfect opportunity to renew your ScooterNova Magazine subscription, stock up on the latest magazine, any back issues you have missed and pick up items like storage cases, a new hoodie or t-shirt and save on postage too!

Back to scooter parts and we will have stock of the Rok Straps luggage straps that so many scooterists are now using to secure their kit when riding to rallies and events. We use them, we love them and that’s why we sell them!

How to Get There

(click the map to enlarge)

Gates open to the public at 9:30am
Admission is still only £5 per person (cash only please).

The on site public car park is accessed via Nottingham Road, the entrance is next to the Fire Station. Please park sensibly and as directed. We have a lot of vehicles to get in there!
Once parked, the parts fair entrance (Gate 2) is only a short walk. If you need to return to your vehicle to store purchases throughout the day, you will be given a hand stamp for re-entry at Gate 2.
SCOOTER PARKING is on site adjacent to the market area, so you will never be far from your pride and joy. Enter via Gate 8 from 9:30 onwards.

Hungry or thirsty?

On site is the Tavern pub cafe serving breakfast, dine in or takeaway, plus other vendors in Hall A offering pastries, hot drinks, sandwiches and Asian food. The Smokehouse will also be open for dining in and offering local pork pies and Stilton cheese too. Later on, the Tavern pub will be selling drinks and hopefully the RCB tap room will be opening around lunchtime too. At the time of writing, the pricing of these establishments was fairly reasonable, and not like the inflated prices you might find at some bigger venues.

This information is repeated on our event page here where any updates will be posted too. All that remains is to wish you all a safe journey and happy bargain hunting on Sunday.

If the previous events are anything to go by then there will be plenty more happy smiling faces heading home with fresh scooter parts in their hands!
