The 2025 scooter season kicks off with the Burton Brewers SC Show this weekend, which coincides nicely with the publication of a brand new edition of ScooterNova magazine!
Located towards the edge of the famous brewery town, for a number of years now the BBSC show has been the first real scooter event in the UK that sets the ball rolling for the scooter rallies and shows that are to follow.
Doors open at 11am on Saturday 22 February. The show attracts custom and classic scooters along with a number of scooter traders who also support the event. If previous events are anything to go by, expect to see a few recently completed machines alongside some fine examples already on the circuit. Lambretta and Vespa, old and new, the Burton show usually has something for everyone, and with the weather forecast looking favourable, there are sure to be plenty of fine scooters to admire outside as well.
The ScooterNova stall will be located inside this year and we will have the brand new edition 48 that only rolled off the presses this week. Packed full of scooter goodness, articles inside range from a fantastic interview with AF Rayspeed to a look at scooter ignition…
… a celebration of the Vespa T5 on the year of its 40th birthday, a trick liquid-cooled custom Lambretta with one-off parts by the owner, history of the Vespa Ape, a stunning DTC custom Lambretta GP, a look at tuning a 1950s Vespa…
…touring the beautiful roads of the Scottish islands and a factory Lambretta C Racer that recently returned to Milan.
We will also have plenty of ScooterNova merchandise available including new stock of the ‘Timing is Everything’ T-shirt (pictured) which seemed apt, considering the article in the latest magazine! Other T-shirts and warm zip tops will of course be available too.
We will also have previous editions of the magazine available, so if you have missed out on any over the winter months, now is the time to complete your collection. Don’t forget edition 46 came with a FREE 2025 wall-planner.
Next to us will be the VCB stall where those Vespa club members taking part in the club’s championship will need to sign on. ScooterNova are proud to sponsor the sticker that each of those members attending and signing will receive for free, so don’t forget to pay both the VCB and ScooterNova a visit on Saturday.
