In January 2025 we visited AF Rayspeed and sat down with Ray and Ben Kemp for an extensive chat about scooters. From working for Arthur Francis in the 1960s, scooter racing throughout the 1970s, 80s and 90s, the famous TS1 and RB kits, being the UK’s Lambretta scooter importer, and on to the new scooter products they are developing for the future. 
With so much to talk about over so many decades, we devoted 12 pages to this fantastic insight of the British scooter scene, complete with some fantastic archive images from the Kemp family, and even a little competition from Ray himself at the end!
