JB Tuning and Casa Performance race in to Scooter Expo

Southend-based JB Tuning Classic Scooter Shop have a reputation for not only building championship winning scooters on the race track, but also high-mileage touring machines for the road. The man behind the tuning, John B brought the shop stand to the first ScooterExpo and he will be returning this Sunday 21 May with engines specs more goodies to tempt you all.

As the UK’s Casa Performance Centre, JB use a number of their products in the engines built for both road and track, and John will have a SST engine on display for you to explore, inside and out on the day.

John has been porting a number of CP SST and SSR barrels for customers recently and will bring a water-cooled SSR barrel one along for you to compare to the standard item. John will of course be happy to discuss any future projects you may have in mind, from mild-mannered to full-bore engines as well as which parts and components may be best suited for your needs.

Depending on your riding stye, it may not necessarily be the most expensive or shiniest items that work the best for you.

Meanwhile Mickey has been using a 3D printer to develop parts and JB Tuning will also be showing the 3D printed liquid-cooled cylinder head along with the final production version fitted to his race scooter. Modern technology, hey?

Speaking of which, the race scooter will of course take pride of place on the JB Tuning stand. As they say, the proof is in the pudding and this scooter is plenty of proof.

For those who want to spend on the day rather than book an engine build in for the future, JB will have a few Casa Performance products for sale at ScooterExpo, including the renowned chain guides, Octopus rear hubs, end plates,  and more. If you are looking for anything in particular and want to save on postage costs, why not call JB Tuning in advance on 01702 545952 and place your order over the phone for delivery to ScooterExpo.

ScooterExpo takes place on Sunday 21 May at Alfreton Leisure Centre in Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55 7BD.
Doors open at 10am and we have over 100 scooters from around the UK entered, displayed over two halls. Guest speakers include Norrie Kerr (Vespa racer, MSC, VE UK, Glasgow Vespa Club) and Mike Hayman (Two Four Accessories, Lambretta racer, Team Taffspeed, Suzuki GB).
