Good day and welcome one and all. We’re just dropping you a quick line to say that despite a busy scooter riding calendar this summer, we have found time to produce the third edition of ScooterNova magazine for you and it’s currently winging its way to the printers.
We’ve ridden lots of miles, taken plenty of photos, unearthed some amazing machines and spent many late nights putting together what we think is a fantastic edition.
We don’t want to give too much away in advance, but will throw a few teasers to you by way of some rare and previously unseen Innocenti factory photographs, an eye-catching Vespa built for less than a grand, an exclusive behind the scenes story of the Lambretta Siluro, an amazing new John Spurgeon painted custom scooter, a look at luxury scooters from the 1950s and some inspirational riding on both Lambrettas and Vespas.
Okay so the latter includes part 2 of Donna and Pete’s ride to Moscow, but then if you’ve read edition 2 of ScooterNova then you knew that was coming anyway, didn’t you?
We’ll also give you this low-resolution preview of a few pages along with the reminder that you can both subscribe and buy single issues direct from us online, over the telephone or by sending us a cheque in the post, all of which will ensure you receive a copy of the new ScooterNova magazine through your letterbox as soon as possible after it is published on the 23 August 2017.
To buy or subscribe online, please click here to visit Scooter Products.
If you want to call or write to us, then the contact details for Scooter Products can be found here.
And don’t worry if you have missed either edition 1 or 2, because we still have a few back issues available here.
At the Isle of Wight Scooter Rally
ScooterNova magazine will also have a stall at the Isle of Wight scooter rally year, held over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
We will be trading within the dealer village on the official scooter rally campsite at Smallbrook Stadium near Ryde, and you can find out more details of that here.
As we will be celebrating the launch of edition 3 of ScooterNova magazine we do have a few special things lined up for the occasion, but we can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet so you’ll have to watch this space, or ‘like us’ on Facebook and we’ll announce more details soon.
We will also have a small selection of ScooterNova merchandise available at the Isle of Wight, with the potential for you to buy in advance and collect at the rally if you wish. Just include a message if you make an online purchase so we know, print out and bring your order along and we’ll hand over your items and refund your postage too of course.
Finally, there will be other stalls and dealers at the Isle of Wight selling ScooterNova magazine, including the VCB and Crusader Promotions (who sell the rally patches and shirts too), but if you can’t make it there, or to Mersea Island rally the following week, then either buy online here, or support your local scooter shop and buy a copy of ScooterNova magazine from them. The list of stockists can be found here.
Ride safe and see you on the island!
