Okay, so it’s actually three minutes and 10 seconds, but that wouldn’t have worked as a title!
In fact, if we’re being completely honest it takes considerably longer than that, but that’s the joy of modern technology – you can speed things up a little if you like.
What we have here is a very neat little film made by one Barnaby Newton that depicts three to four months’ worth of hard work undertaken by the London Scooter Bodyshop and Retrospective Scooters in restoring a 1964 Vespa VNB 125 back to its former glory.
The video captures the full process of restoration from rusting Vespa to bare metal and upwards, complete with full engine rebuild too.
The clever bit, however, is that Newton has shot and edited his film in such a way that it is enthralling from beginning to end, without lingering on any process beyond giving the viewer a taste of what the job involves.
A perfect promotional film that’s entertaining too. Enjoy…
