On behalf of MSC we are excited to announce that we will be celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Vespa at the Nottingham Motor Show, taking place at Wollaton Hall on Sunday 7 June 2026.

To honour this milestone, Motorcycle & Scooter Centre, together with ScooterNova Magazine and the Vespa Club of Nottingham are curating a display of Vespa scooters spanning the decades of production.
On show will be scooters from the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s along with the very latest models from 2026!

Among those on display will be the oldest road-going Vespa in the UK, a 98 model – the first to be produced.
There will also be a Vespa made in England by Douglas of Bristol during the 1950s, the sleek Gran Sport, a rare Vespa moped with pedals, plus some racing scooters from the Hornet and Green Light teams, including a water-cooled 43bhp 150cc model and 127.5mph Vespa 90!
So whether you are a current Vespa rider, want to reminisce about days gone by, or are in the market for a new Vespa scooter, pop by and say hello on Sunday 7 June at Nottingham Motor Show! (for info about the show, click here)
ScooterNova is now available from all good scooter shops along with branches of TG Jones and WH Smith throughout the UK. You can also buy ScooterNova magazines from our online store, including the previous March/April edition 54 (while stocks last). Click here to browse our magazines.
