Coming of Age – SN18 out now!

Judging by the enquiries we’ve received, the previous edition of ScooterNova that was despatched just before Christmas was a very, very long time ago!
Not to worry though folks, because number 18 is here, packed full of scooter-related articles to give your scooter buzz a boost!SN18_CtS

With the weather in parts of the UK  causing frowns on some faces, ScooterNova 18 offers a stunning pair of custom Series 1 and 2 Lambrettas, complete with a sparkling Metalflake paint that was photographed shimmering in the brilliant sunlight, as only a quality flake can. SN18_As_AVP

At the opposite end of the scale regarding paintwork but certainly no less impressive, are a pair of original-condition 1960s dealer specials, a Vespa GS160 from Eddy Grimstead and a Lambretta SX200 from Speedway of Acton, both reminding of the battle in the showrooms for the customer’s business all those years ago.

Slightly more up to date we celebrate 35 years of the Vespa T5, which going on related social media posts already seems to have hit a soft spot with many readers fondly reminiscing days gone by.  Norrie Kerr certainly enjoyed his time road-testing the original machine back in the day!

We also have an eye-catching Lambretta GP street racer (Cattivo Culo), another machine photographed on a  lovely sunny day – and on a beach no less – the magazine’s pages reflecting the upbeat feel of both a fast scooter and brighter days to come.

Of course we have plenty to inspire you all too, from a stunning tale of touring in Norway (complete with an innovative way of getting there), the latest product news from Scooterist Meltdown courtesy of Sticky, a look at what we’ve been testing too, a round-up of the BSRA, LCGB and VCB riders’ championships, and a ‘piece de résistance’ we are very proud to have indeed, that being a Lambretta produced in Italy like you have literally never seen before.
