The weekend of the last BSRA scooter rally of the year is fast approaching, we’ve changed the oil in our scooters, checked the tyre pressures and fitted a couple of new parts for testing – Southport here we come!

The brand new edition 16 of ScooterNova magazine will be available from our stall this weekend at Southport Scooter Rally (as well as other stalls too, such as the LCGB and VCB). Bursting at the seams with yet more fascinating scooter articles we celebrate 50 years of both the Lambretta GP and Vespa 50 Special plus ride the Wild Atlantic Way, review the kit we’ve been wearing during 2019, admire some sparkling new custom scooters (Phantasmagoria and Spangles) as well as appreciate all the fine and subtle details that have gone into creating the eye-catching Junk Yard Dog. Over in Sweden Jens is reunited with the Vespa Rally 180 he raced at the Isle of Man in the 1960s, Simon races the Malle Mile, and two amateur teams tell us about their experience at the recent Teesside 6-hour scooter endurance racing. Add to that rare Moto Guzzi scooter, a road test of the new Super Monza 225 Box Tourer plus an Isometric classic and reviews of the Isle of Wight and Woolacombe, and you’ve got another 100 pages to keep you enthralled until number 17 arrives!
At Southport we will also have our 2020 calendars for sale. They are A3 in size, a different page and scooter for each month, featuring some of the finest machines to have graced the pages of ScooterNova magazine so far. These cost just £10 each and we’ve only had a limited edition produced, so get in early for the ideal Christmas present!

It is the rider’s choice after all!
You’ll find ScooterNova with the rest of the traders in the Southport Floral Halls on the Promenade from 11am Saturday morning, the same venue hosting evening entertainment with DJs and live bands both Friday and Saturday nights, as well as the trade and custom show on Saturday from 11am to around 4pm.
