As we do most years, this weekend we’ll be riding to Coventry for the Vintage Motor Scooter Club’s annual Extravaganza, an event that hosts a veritable selection of motor scooters from classics to custom, rare, obscure, engineered, and sometimes down right peculiar!
Taking place at the Sports Connextion Centre in Ryton-on-Dunsmore on Sunday 8 April, ScooterNova magazine will not only be entering a classic scooter in a ridden class (if I get the new exhaust fitted in time!), but we will also have stall at the show too.
Last year, the VMSC Show was one of the many events where we promoted the (then forthcoming) new ScooterNova magazine and many of you kindly supported us from the off by signing up for an annual subscription, even before the first magazines had been printed!
To celebrate our first year on the shelves and coffee tables of scooter enthusiasts, we had some special stickers produced which we’ll have on our stall (while stocks last), so please do come and say hello. You can also renew your subscription with us at the VMSC Show and see our range of exclusive merchandise including our stylish retro leather key holders, hoodies, t-shirts and messenger bags.
For more details on the show, visit the VMSC website. Doors open at 10am and we look forward to seeing you there.
Right, back to my Model D’s exhaust…
