Bell Crash helmets are over 50 years old now and while celebrating their anniversary in 2014, Bell launched theirĀ retro styled Bullitt full-face crash helmet.

Unlike many other retro crash helmets currently on the market, the Bullitt is a new design taking inspiration from Bell’s heritage, thus using the latest technology including a multi-fibre outer shell. We like this (plastic helmets just aren’t our bag, no matter how cool they might look), along with the secure double-D strap fastening and tidy vent closure system neatly hidden inside the chin piece too. A clever and stylish helmet with protection from a helmet brand with a good reputation.

The designs are pretty trick as well, with Lennard Schuurmans (Barn Fresh) and Roland Sands contributing versions alongside the classic plain colours and metalflakes, with some new colour ways in the pipeline (including another RSD) for 2016. This includes the full face Bullitt range and similarly retro Custom 500 open face helmets too.

Also on its way is a new website for the UK importer and, to celebrate, they are giving away tickets for the Motorcycle Live show at the NEC in November, along with a Bell Bullitt or Custom 500 helmet.
