August Bank Holiday can mean just two things: the Isle of Wight Scooter rally and a brand new edition of ScooterNova magazine!

The September/October edition of ScooterNova magazine is out now and the ScooterNova stall at the Isle of Wight Scooter rally will have stocks of both this and some previous editions available for sale throughout the weekend. You will find us alongside dozens of other scooter traders on the official scooter rally campsite at Sandown Airport, a number of which also stock ScooterNova magazine as well as scooter parts and accessories, official Isle of Wight Scooter Rally Merchandise, scooters themselves (classic and modern with Italjet UK their Dragster 300 demonstrator present on site) plus loads more scooter-related products.
We have a large range of scooter T-shirts and warm zip-tops available at the ScooterNova stall, with loads of exclusive designs for both Lambretta and Vespa riders as well as those of other scooters too.

Of course with 2026 being the 80th anniversary of Vespa, this includes designs ranging from classic to the modern GTS models too. As well as clothing we have retro style messenger and sports bags too, key fobs and a selection of books, including the fantastic ‘Wild on the Wasp’, of which we are down to single figures in stock, so don’t delay on that one.
We also have back in stock a few English language versions of Andrea Pinasco’s book, ‘The Ones With Tuned Vespas’, but again stock of those is low.
Our limited edition 2026 scooter rider pin badges are proving as popular this year as in previous years, and we have a number of smaller items like this, key tags and our new tote bags for those looking for a pocket friendly gift to take home from the island.
Of course to get all this home you might well want to treat yourself (and your scooter) to the popular Rok Straps luggage straps. We’ve been using these instead of bungee straps for longer than I can remember and think they are the best thing for securing your luggage. But don’t just take our word for it; ask the hundreds of scooterists who have bought Rok Straps from us over the few of years!
Signing On?
If you are enterimg the BSRA and/or LCGB and VCB rider’s championships, then the ScooterNova stall will be hosting the signing-on points for those from approximately 10am to 3pm on the Saturday (note the stall may open later, depending on how long we spend in the silent disco on Friday night!!).

If you fancy a break from browsing the dozens of stalls, elsewhere on the scooter rally campsite you will find all sort of things to entertain you, both during the day and the evening. JG Scooters will be running their dyno challenge on Friday and Saturday, the big scooter custom show takes place on Saturday, food and drink will of course be available throughout the weekend and there will be music day and night, courtesy of DJs and live bands. And if you want a different view of it all, why not take a helicopter ride over the island?
You can buy a weekend ticket on the gate at the Isle of Wight Scooter Rally, along with day and/ or evening tickets too. If you need to know anything more about the rally itself, here is a link to the official Isle of Wight Scooter Rally Facebook Page.

All that remains is to wish everyone a safe ride and we look forward to seeing you on the road or on the island!
