This Saturday 14 September the second round of the British Scooter Endurance Club’s 2025 calendar at Teesside Autodrome in Middlesbrough. Once again, ScooterNova magazine are proud to be one of the sponsors.

A total of 29 teams have entered for the eight hour race that begins at 10am on Saturday morning, a mixture of Vespa and Lambretta scooters. With four race classes on track at the same time, competition will be fierce and the racing close. The Teesside Autodrome circuit is a good track for racers and spectators alike, with much of the track visible to watch the riders go head to head down the long back straight for example, before battling through the tight turns in front of the grandstand.

For those wanting to watch an exciting scooter sport, it is FREE for spectators to get in throughout the day, with a cafe on site along with the opportunity to see the action both on track and in the pits too.

The BSEC organisers will also have a stall at the event selling race programmes and merchandise, so save some cash for them!
The race is on from 10am to 6pm with the award ceremony taking place afterwards. Qualifying takes place from 8:30 to 9:30am on Saturday morning with practice today, Friday 13 September from 4pm to 6pm.
Watch It Live

The Teesside Autodrome have now got their own live video feed via TSK-motorsport-media and the live race should be broadcast on their YouTube channel as it happens. Click here to subscribe to their channel.
As before Alpha Timing will be tracking the riders and teams so you can check on their laps, times and positions throughout the race here: https://live.alphatiming.co.uk/bsecuk
Unfortunately I won’t be racing at this meeting either (I have missed the last two at Teesside!) but I wish my London Lambretta Clubmates all the best, and of course everyone else who is racing tomorrow.
Take care and enjoy the ride.
A full report (from a racer’s view) along with photographs will appear in the next edition (46) of ScooterNova magazine.
A Word From a Sponsor

Unlike the big corporate companies that sponsor events to make sure the only drinks you can buy at the World Cup are theirs, or because they need to show a tax loss on their books, at the other end of things we at ScooterNova sponsor events like BSEC because we want to support fellow scooterists in what we all love doing, riding our scooters. But we can only do that if you in turn support the sponsors. Please buy ScooterNova magazine, a subscription or some merchandise. Tell your friends about the fellow scooterists that sponsor the events you enjoy participating in and together we can help them to continue into the future. Thank you, and do enjoy your glass of CocaPepsiWeiser too…
**ScooterNova is an independent magazine published bi-monthly in the UK and sold worldwide.
