There’s a new event on the scooter calendar this year, so here at ScooterNova magazine we packed our scooters and rode off towards Cologne to be part of it!
Instead of riding home after the Isle of Wight scooter rally last weekend, we rode from the port of Southampton to the Port of Dover and set sail across the English Channel to France.
Scooter Center Koln have organised the Scooterist Weekender in their home city and ScooterNova magazine are proud to be riding over on a couple of our old Lambrettas to not only take part but we will also have a stall at the event.
The Weekender begins on Friday 2 September with a Nighter in town, before the show that opens at midday on Saturday 3 September. Taking place at the Motorworld venue in the city from 12 to 6pm over 100 scooters have been entered into the custom show. There are also trade stalls from all over Europe including Lambretta Finder from Belgium, Retrospective from England, Stoffi’s Garage from Austria and of course ScooterNova magazine where we will have the brand new edition 33 available, and also some free stickers and postcards too so come and say hello!
Rimini Lambretta Centre are one of the many other stalls attending and they are promising a big Casa Performance announcement at 3pm CET that will put a big smile on the faces of many Lambretta owners! Don’t worry if you cannot attend because we at ScooterNova magazine will be on hand to report live via this blog and our social media pages.
Afterwards it’s back to the club for another Nighter with an international DJ line-up.
