There’s nothing like going on adventures on your scooters, and if you can record it all to share with other scooterists at a later date to encourage them too, even better.
That is what some members of the Vesparados Joburg (together with friends from other clubs) in South Africa have done.
In the middle of September, three Lambrettas and eight Vespas set off from the coastal town of Port Elizabeth on a 1100km route through some of the world’s most diverse and beautiful scenery. Their average daily mileage was around 200km to make sure they could enjoy the scenery, with nightly stops planned at backpackers in Jefferey Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Barrydale, Hermanus, Stellenbosch until they finally reached their destination of Cape Town.
