If you’re not heading up to Scotland or down to Sussex this weekend for scooter rally, how about taking in some scooter sport?
Saturday 28 June is the first round of the BSEC (British Scooter Endurance Club) scooter endurance racing, which takes place at Whilton Mill near Daventry in Northants (postcode NN11 2NH) and ScooterNova magazine are once again proud to be a sponsor of this fabulous race series.

The race will be for 8 hours with a packed grid of teams riding tuned classic geared Lambretta and Vespa scooters, competing in four classes: Pro, Race, Road and Club.
The schedule for the weekend is practice on Friday 27 June from 16:30 to 18:30 for early arrivals, then timed practice for qualifying from 9:00 to 9:30 am. The race itself starts at 10am, concluding at 18:00, with the awards presentation taking place afterwards.
As well as being a BSEC sponsor, ScooterNova magazine also sponsors schoolboy George Fielder who has recently started racing classic scooters. This weekend he is taking part in his first scooter endurance race – once he and his dad have finished building his Vespa of course!

Team George will have the brand new edition 50 of ScooterNova magazine for sale at their Team HQ at Whilton Mill, along with some previous editions too and EVERY PENNY of the magazines they sell go towards funding young George’s first steps into the world of scooter racing.
So please do take time to search out Team George, say hello, have a chat and treat yourself to a magazine or two. Not only do you get a good read with ScooterNova to look forward to, but you will be directly helping George on the track as well.
