Today two scooter lads have set off from Lands End to ride to John O’Groats to raise money for Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming, a charity run by fellow scooterists Dizzy and Tania Holmes in Midhurst, Sussex.

Riders Carl Grisley and Laurence Causabon Vincent (along with back-up van driver Carl Cooper) set off from Land’s End this morning heading towards Stoke on Trent. Tomorrow will see them continue on towards Dalwhinnie in central Scotland.
Day 3 is full steam ahead to John O’Groats for a quick photo and a haggis lunch before returning to Dalwhinnie. Day 4 they will be riding down through Scotland, over Hadrian’s Wall and into Northallerton in North Yorkshire. On the final day they make their way back to Midhurst in Sussex to see Dizzy, Tania and the lovely pups at Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming.
The centre‘s vet bills are apparently an astronomical £5,000-£10,000 per month and they set an initial fundraising target of £2,500 which would pay for the dogs’ vet care for just two weeks. However that target has already been reached to the goal is now £4,000 and to make sure they raise as much money for the bulldogs as they can, the lads are covering all expenses themselves.
If you would like to donate then they have set up a JustGiving page ans here is the link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/carl-grisley-1722365824805
Good luck chaps and enjoy the ride!
