Edition 10 of ScooterNova magazine is being finished, ready to be sent to the printers next week. We’re very excited and proud to announce that of the many exclusive features inside we have the famous 1980s show-winning custom scooter of Jeremy Howlett, Wake! Now with a new owner and painstakingly restored to its former glory, ScooterNova were invited to photograph this jaw-dropping Lambretta as soon as it was completed.
Almost a complete contrast to that is the restoration Vespa VBA, complete with 10” wheels and modern engine. But is all really what it seems?
We’ve another gorgeous 1950s Vespa to drool over in this edition too, a stunning GS150 custom from Austria with an amazing and personal paint job, and a neat hidden gadget too.
In response to the GS, Innocenti launched the TV range of Lambrettas and we’ve a lovely Series 3 for you to appreciate too.
ScooterNova have also taken a ride on a Casa Performance 265ST kitted Lambretta that was road-tested over to the UK from Italy.
On the subject of overseas riding, Nick Prince begins a series of articles in ScooterNova edition 10, the first on his preparation for riding his classic scooter in North Africa this month. We also talk to Nick Jolly, editor and publisher of The Ralliest magazine in the 1980s, co-founder of VFM and former scooter shop owner, and we have varied reviews of beach racing, wonderful riding roads and a few select events.
Edition 10 of ScooterNova magazine will be ready for Bridlington Trade & Custom Show on Saturday 27 October where you’ll find the ScooterNova stall inside the Spa complex in town. The new edition of the magazine will also be available from the Vespa Club of Britain and Lambretta Club Great Britain stalls, as well as a few others too.
