Who knew there was scooter racing in Indonesia? And who knew it was so   popular? Well, Indonesian scooterists probably did, but for the rest of the world this Vespa here is part of what appears to be a very well attended race series.

Starting life as a Vespa SS90, this smallframe scooter was fitted with a V100 engine that now features some of the cream of European tuning components amongst its impressive spec list such as a Falc 153cc top end, Vespatronic 90w 12v electronic ignition with programmable automatic variable timing, MMW4 clutch, Mazzucchelli 54mm stroke full circle racing crank, Malossi RS24 shocks, Hammer-Zombie Pro Free Flow Series exhaust and a (Japanese) 32mm Mikuni carburettor. Tuning was by Indra Roboth AYO ST 234, Pondok Cabe and apparently this little ripper holds at lest one lap record out there.

It looks damn tidy too!
