This weekend is the eagerly awaited Lambretta Club of Great Britain’s Coast to Coast rally.
Kicking off with a party on Friday in Saltburn on the North East coast, scooter riders will meet on Saturday morning for a 150 mile run through the Yorkshire Dales. Following some of the route for the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart, the ride traverses picturesque roads through the Lake District to the destination in St Bees.

I live in West Cumbria and as a former owner of a Lambretta some 30 plus years ago it has been a real treat to gave them all pass by my front window for most of the afternoon early evening.
It’s a shame that it hadn’t been promoted locally as l’m sure there would have been quite a few former Lambretta ownr in the area turned out to greet yhem.
