Possibly a bit late for Christmas presents this year – unless you’re one of our Canadian readers – we recently stumbled across these lovely pieces of artwork that may well flick your switch.
Mark Pilon, better known as Atomos is a painter illustrator and designer working in Vancouver Canada. He started his painting career in 1991, has illustrated for many magazines, and is exhibiting in museums and galleries worldwide.
His style is retro-futurism, characters are bubbly, bright, modern, and can be described as science-fiction-pop. It’s a style that can be recognised in an instant, and it does it for us.
If only we’d found him sooner, then guess what we’d have asked Santa for this year? Finding a piece of his artwork under the tree would make anyone’s Christmas we reckon,
