Being sent to Coventry isn’t always bad, especially if scooters are involved. We spent today admiring plenty of them at the VMSC show, from rare Model A Lambretta to a club display of BSA and Triumphs and some show-winning customs too.
So where to start? This Rolling Stones theme’d custom Lambretta GP Start Me Up looked stunning as ever, although the display from the Moto Rumi club was more than impressive we reckon, especially the fully polished example.

Another club display grabbing attention were the Lambretta Stingrays, old scramblers as rare as hen’s teeth.

Other oldies to tempt you included a couple of Zundapp Bellas, a tidy TWN, Maicoletta, Heinkel and Jawa.

Meanwhile the custom scooters from AF S-types to fully muralled Vespas and Lambrettas kept the hall full of people while dealers selling new and secondhand parts meant we spent a couple of pounds as well!
Anyway, a picture can speak a thousand words so enjoy…

You need to contact the organisers of the event, the VMSC, this is simply a news/magazine blog.
Thank you.
