Lambretta DL/GP – History, Models and Documentation by Vittorio Tessera
Complete history of the DL/GP Innocenti Lambretta as the title suggests. In Italian and English language – 96 pages.
The first and only monograph entirely devoted to the Innocenti Lambretta DL/GP scooter, produced by Innocenti in Milan, designed by that master of body styling, Nuccio Bertone, creator of outstanding cars like the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint and the Lamborghini Miura, and also of course of the Lambretta Lui.
The Lambretta DL/GP was launched in 1969 and was the last new scooter produced by Innocenti (the Lui and J models launched before 1969) and only survived until the factory closed their scooter division in 1971. Produced in 125, 150 and 200cc examples, there was a famed Electronic version of the 200 produced at the end as a swansong for the Italian Lambreta production.
Published as part of a series of books spotlighting the most important and significant Lambrettas, this edition unveils all the technical and stylistic secrets of DL/GP Lambretta, illustrated by invaluable archive material never before published, and is written by Vittorio Tessera, a major world historian on the popular two-wheeler in all its variations.
Other books in the series on the Lambretta world already published include the D/LD, LiTV Series 1, LiTV Series 3, and Lui series.
