Hot off the press from the BSRA meeting at Southport Scooter Rally today, here are the dates and venues for the national scooter rallies in 2020.
10-13 April (Easter) – Whitby
8-10 May (VE Day) – Tenby
22-24 May (Spring B/H) – Kelso
26-27 June – Big 7
24-26 July – Weymouth
28-31 August (B/H) – Isle of Wight
25-27 September – Woolacombe
23-24 October – Southport
At the meeting it was also discussed that 2019 has been the best year so far regarding entrants to the BSRA Riders Championship and once again both male and female titles were very close runs. Next year’s bonus signing-on event (as well as the BSRA nationals) will be at Mersea Island in September. Meanwhile the Monsters and Olympic SCs announced Cleethorpes rally would be given a rest for another year. Regarding the Isle of Wight, it will go ahead over the August Bank Holiday weekend although final details will be announced in due course as local planning permission may affect the rally location.
